Farmers in Rajasthan can apply until 20 June 2024. Applications can be submitted online through the Raj Kisan Sathi portal or at the nearest e-Mitra center. Farmers will receive an online receipt after submitting the application.
After applying, the farmer must purchase the pipeline from a manufacturer registered with the Agriculture Department or an authorized dealer. Approval information will be sent via mobile message by the agricultural supervisor. Once purchased, the pipeline will be verified by the department. If approved, the subsidy amount will be deposited into the farmer's account.
Using irrigation pipelines allows farmers to transport water efficiently from wells to fields without leakage, saving 20-25% of water.
