During the discussions, farmers emphasized the need for model farming systems, especially for small-scale farmers. They shared success stories of farmers who have made good profits from small plots of land, showing that profitable farming is possible even with limited resources.

Other topics discussed included water availability, fertilizer use, soil health, and the effects of natural disasters on farming. Farmers also raised concerns about the closure of sugar mills, stray animals causing crop damage, and the promotion of millet farming (Shree Anna).
