The 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a government scheme that provides financial aid to farmers, is expected to be released in February 2025. Under this program, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three installments of ₹2,000 each. However, to receive the 19th installment, farmers must complete certain mandatory tasks, such as farmer registration and e-KYC.

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched on February 24, 2019, by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. The scheme is fully funded by the Government of India and aims to support small and marginal farmers. So far, 18 installments have been credited to the accounts of eligible farmers. The previous (18th) installment was released in October 2024, and the 19th installment is likely to be credited in February 2025.
Although no official announcement has been made yet, there are speculation that the installment could be released on February 28, as past installments have followed some similar timelines.
Not all farmers qualify for the benefits under this scheme. Here are the key eligibility criteria:
Farmers must also complete their formal registration and mandatory e-KYC process. Failure to do so may result in delayed or forfeited installments.
To ensure all eligible farmers can avail of the scheme, a Farmer Registry campaign is underway. This registry is part of the Agristack initiative, which aims to digitize Indian agriculture. The campaign allows farmers to update their information, including land records, crop details, and Aadhaar-linked data.

While the initial deadline for farmer registration was December 31, 2024, states like Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh have extended the campaign until January 31, 2025. Farmers can complete their registration online or by visiting Jan Suvidha Kendras or government-organized camps in villages.
