The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched on February 24, 2019, by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. To ensure all eligible farmers can avail of the scheme, a Farmer Registry campaign is underway. This registry is part of the Agristack initiative, which aims to digitize Indian agriculture. The campaign allows farmers to update their information, including land records, crop details, and Aadhaar-linked data.
