The Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana has been a game-changer for women in Madhya Pradesh, empowering them with financial aid. Under this scheme, women receive ₹1,250 every month. So far, 17 installments have been distributed, and now, with Diwali around the corner, the 18th installment is eagerly awaited by the beneficiaries.

According to recent reports, the state government may release the 18th installment of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana on October 27, just before Diwali. This amount is expected to be credited to the accounts of the Ladli sisters by the first week of November, possibly by November 5. While no official confirmation has been made by the government, hopes are high that this festive season will bring joy to the beneficiaries.
Just as the government provided a bonus of ₹250 during Raksha Bandhan, the Ladli sisters are expecting a similar bonus this Diwali. On Raksha Bandhan, the Chief Minister gave an extra amount as a token of goodwill. This time, it’s possible that a Diwali Shagun in addition to the regular installment may be announced, doubling the happiness for the Ladli sisters.

So far, 17 installments of the Ladli Behna Yojana have been distributed. The scheme, launched by former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, initially provided ₹1,000 per installment. After the first four payments, the amount was increased to ₹1,250. Here are the details of the past installments:
Each eligible sister has received a total of ₹20,250 from the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, which includes the monthly installments and the Raksha Bandhan Shagun. Approximately 1.29 crore women in Madhya Pradesh are benefiting from this scheme.
With the 18th installment and a potential Diwali bonus on the way, this Diwali could be even more special for the Ladli sisters.
