The Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana is a government scheme aiming to make housing accessible for low-income individuals and families in rural areas. Under this scheme, 2 lakh people will receive 100-square-yard plots to build their own homes. Alongside the rural scheme, urban housing initiatives are also progressing. In eight districts, 6,618 flats will soon be allotted to applicants from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) under the Mukhyamantri Shahari Awas Yojana. Additionally, 2,000 beneficiaries in Sector 23, Jagadhari, will gain access to plots for home construction.
