Agri Stack Scheme for Farmers

The Uttar Pradesh government, under the Agri Stack Scheme, is creating a digital farmer registry for every farmer in the state. This initiative uses advanced Information Technology to link land records like Khasra and Khatauni with Aadhaar numbers. The goal is to ensure transparency and make it easier for farmers to avail of schemes like:

  • PM-Kisan Yojana
  • PM Crop Insurance Scheme
  • Kisan Credit Card Scheme
  • Agriculture Infrastructure Fund

Once registered, farmers can benefit from these schemes with just one click, eliminating the need for repeated KYC updates.

Mandatory for PM-Kisan Beneficiaries

Dr. Jitendra Kumar Tomar, Uttar Pradesh's Agriculture Directorhas emphasized that farmers enrolled in PM-Kisan Yojana must complete this process. Missing the deadline could mean losing out on the 19th installment of the scheme. New beneficiaries must also ensure their registration to receive benefits without delays.

How to Register for Farmer ID

Farmers can complete their registration online or at local government centers:

  1. Online Portal: Visit https://upfr.agristack.gov.in.
  2. Jan Suvidha Kendras: Government service centers in villages.
  3. Panchayat Bhawans: Camps set up by the government.

Dr. Tomar has appealed to all eligible farmers to register at the nearest camp to avoid last-minute rushes.
