Farmers across India are eagerly awaiting the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana, a central government scheme providing financial support to farmers. To ensure they receive this installment, farmers must complete their Farmer Registry before the deadline.

About PM Kisan Yojana

Under the PM Kisan Yojana, over 11 crore farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three installments of ₹2,000 each. These payments are made directly to their bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). So far, 18 installments have been disbursed.

However, the government has made it mandatory for farmers to register on the Farmer Registry to qualify for the upcoming 19th installment.

Who Won’t Get the Benefit?

Farmers who fail to register will miss out on:

  1. The 19th installment of PM Kisan Yojana.
  2. Benefits under schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and Crop Loan Schemes.

What is Farmer Registry?

The Farmer Registry is a digital system to store farmer and land-related data. It includes details such as:

  • Aadhaar number
  • Land records (Khasra-Khatauni numbers)
  • Other farming details

This comprehensive database ensures farmer’s eligibility for various government schemes.

How to Register for the Farmer Registry?

Farmers can register through:

  1. The official portal: upfr.agristack.gov.in
  2. The Farmer Registry UP mobile app.
  3. Nearby Common Service Centers (CSCs).

Additionally, camps will be held at village panchayat offices for easy registration. Farmers must carry:

  • Aadhaar card
  • Land records (Khatauni)
  • Mobile number

Camps in the Banda District

The District Magistrate (DM) of Banda, Nagendra Pratap Singh, has instructed officials to organize awareness camps for farmer registration. These camps aim to help farmers complete their registration and benefit from government schemes.

When Will the 19th Installment Be Released?

While there is no official announcement yet, the 19th installment is expected to be released in February 2025, as payments under this scheme are made every four months.

The last installment was distributed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 5, 2024, in Washim, Maharashtra.
