In total, Escorts Kubota sold 6,669 tractors in January 2025, marking a 6.7% decline from the 7,150 units sold in January 2024. While domestic sales slowed down, the company remains optimistic about future demand, citing increased rabi sowing, the upcoming harvesting season, and festive demand as key drivers for growth in the coming months.
For the April 2024 - January 2025 period, Escorts Kubota's total sales reached 95,590 units, down 1.2% from 96,799 units in the previous year.
Despite the slowdown in domestic sales, Escorts Kubota remains hopeful that strong agricultural activities, a favourable harvesting season, and upcoming festivals will drive demand in the near future. The company’s export growth of 66% in January 2025 is a positive sign, balancing out the decline in local sales.
Industry experts will keep an eye on the next few months to see if domestic sales recover as expected. Meanwhile, Escorts Kubota’s focus on expanding export markets could help counteract domestic fluctuations and stabilize overall performance.
