Mahindra also released its Year-to-Date (YTD) sales report for FY 2025. The domestic market recorded a 10% growth, with 350,632 tractors sold compared to 320,129 units in FY 2024. Meanwhile, exports rose by 28%, with sales rising from 10,561 units in FY 2024 to 13,548 units in FY 2025.
Hemant Sikka, President of the Farm Equipment Sector at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., attributed this growth to favorable agricultural conditions. He stated, “We have sold 26,305 tractors in the domestic market in January 2025, achieving a 15% growth. Factors such as better soil moisture from a strong monsoon, high reservoir water storage, and increased Rabi sowing have contributed to the rising demand. Additionally, government support through rural schemes and agricultural subsidies is expected to boost sales further.”
