Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) has reported its tractor sales figures for January 2025, revealing a 10.7% decline in domestic sales. The company sold 6,058 tractors in India, compared to 6,782 units in January 2024. However, exports grew 66%, with 611 tractors shipped overseas, up from 368 units last year.

In total, Escorts Kubota sold 6,669 tractors in January 2025, marking a 6.7% decline from the 7,150 units sold in January 2024. While domestic sales slowed down, the company remains optimistic about future demand, citing increased rabi sowing, the upcoming harvesting season, and festive demand as key drivers for growth in the coming months.

April 2024 - January 2025: Year-to-Date Performance

For the April 2024 - January 2025 period, Escorts Kubota's total sales reached 95,590 units, down 1.2% from 96,799 units in the previous year.

• Domestic sales showed a slight drop of 0.4%, with 91,820 tractors sold compared to 92,153 units in FY 2024.
• Export sales saw a significant decline of 18.9%, with 3,770 tractors exported versus 4,646 units last year.
