One such initiative by the state government aims to engage rural youth, including farmers, in conducting surveys of government schemes. This move is expected to provide employment within the villages themselves.

Involvement in Crop Surveys for Transparency

The state government is keen on ensuring accurate crop surveys, which are crucial for schemes like Minimum Support Price purchases and crop insurance. To achieve transparency and efficiency, the government has decided to involve rural youth in conducting these surveys.

Online Applications Invited Till 10 July 2024

Interested and educated youth from Madhya Pradesh can apply online for this opportunity. Applications are open until July 10, 2024, and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.

Historical Context of Crop Surveys in Madhya Pradesh

Regular Girdawari under State Rules

Under the Madhya Pradesh Land Records Rules, crop surveys are conducted thrice a year: during the Kharif, Zayed, and Rabi seasons. Previously, these surveys were conducted manually by officials visiting fields.

Transition to Digital Crop Surveys

To improve transparency, the government has initiated digital crop surveys using advanced technology. This process involves capturing field photographs at fixed intervals through Geo-Fence technology.

  • They should be residents of the village or the nearest Gram Panchayat.
  • The minimum educational qualification required is passing class 8.
  • Applicants need an Android mobile phone (version 6+) with internet connectivity.

Honorarium and Application Details

Youth selected for the survey work will receive a stipulated honorarium. Required documents for application include an Aadhaar card, proof of address, age certificate, 8th grade mark sheet, mobile number, and a photograph.

Application Process

Interested candidates can apply online through the MPBHULEKH portal. Registration will be completed using Aadhar OTP verification, and village allocation will be handled by the Patwari. Survey work will be managed via the SARA app, ensuring efficient implementation.
