By 1999, she was leading TAFE and had made it the second-largest tractor maker in India and third-largest in the world. Her big ideas and hard work made a huge difference. Now, TAFE makes Rs 10,000 crore every year and is one of the top tractor makers worldwide.
Mallika Srinivasan's influence extends beyond the boardroom. She serves as the Chair of the Public Enterprises Selection Board and is actively involved in various organizations, including the U.S.-India Business Council and the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa.
Her commitment to education and agriculture earned her numerous awards, including the ETPrime Women Leadership Awards 2020's Business Woman of the Year Award and recognition as one of Fortune India's Most Powerful Women in Business.
Mallika Srinivasan's success is reflected in her net worth, which stood at $2.84 billion (Rs 23,625.96 crore) in 2023, making her one of India's wealthiest individuals. Her contributions to academia and the machinery industry have been recognized with honorary doctorates from institutions like the Hindustan University of Technology & Science and the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.
