Farmers can now take advantage of a 100% subsidy on battery-operated spray pumps under the Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana. This government scheme aims to provide essential agricultural machinery to farmers at affordable rates, making farming easier and more efficient. With the Kharif season approaching, the state government is offering a massive subsidy on battery-operated spray pumps that help farmers spray pesticides on their crops.
The state government has rolled out an action plan for battery-operated spray pumps that spans from 2022-23 to 2024-25. Under this scheme, farmers are eligible to receive a full 100% subsidy. This means that farmers can get these spray pumps completely free of cost. Priority will be given to farmers growing cotton, soybean, and other oilseed crops.
