The Government of India is launching an exciting new initiative under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban. The PM Home Loan Subsidy Scheme 2024 aims to make homeownership more accessible by offering substantial subsidies on home loans.
The PM Home Loan Subsidy Scheme is a part of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban, designed to help low-income individuals and families buy or build a home. This scheme will provide loans of up to Rs 50 lakh with a special subsidy on interest rates, making homeownership more affordable. The government is set to invest Rs 60,000 crore in this initiative, aiming to benefit around 25 lakh home loan applicants.
