Track Your Application Online

The Rajasthan government has linked the E-Mitra application with Discom's New Connection Management System (NCMS) module. This allows consumers in Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Ajmer Discoms to track their application status in real-time. They can check what actions have been taken on their application so far.

Previous Process for Electricity Connection

Earlier, consumers could apply for electricity services through E-Mitra, but due to a lack of integration with NCMS, they still had to visit the Discom office. With this new system, such visits will no longer be necessary. According to Discom Chairperson Aarti Dogra, additional services like power load changes, name changes, and category modifications will soon be available via E-Mitra. The Bijli Mitra mobile app will also provide these services.

Benefits of the New System for the Department

Chairperson Aarti Dogra highlighted that this system will reduce manual paperwork in Discom offices, making operations more efficient. Additionally, site inspections for new connections will now be conducted via the JEN site verification mobile application, which is integrated with NCMS. This will ensure transparency and speed up the approval process.
