During the announcement, Chief Minister Saini highlighted the challenges faced by farmers during this Kharif season due to low rainfall. To compensate for reduced yields, the government has released a bonus of Rs 2,000 per acre for agricultural and horticultural crops. This second installment of Rs 300 crore follows the first installment of Rs 496 crore distributed in August 2024.
The Chief Minister assured farmers that the remaining Rs 580 crore would be credited to the accounts of another 4.94 lakh farmers within 10 to 15 days. A total bonus amount of Rs 1,380 crore has been planned under this scheme, aimed at benefiting farmers registered on the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal.
In a step toward modernizing agriculture, the government has started distributing 40 lakh soil health cards through WhatsApp. Once a farmer’s soil sample is tested, the results are uploaded online, and the soil health card is sent directly to the farmer’s WhatsApp.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of these cards, which guide farmers on using the right fertilizers and improving crop yields. Haryana has a robust network of 106 soil testing laboratories, ensuring that farmers have access to testing facilities within 20-25 kilometers.

Haryana’s Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal is a unique platform where farmers can register their crop details. This ensures fair prices and government assistance during adverse weather conditions. Farmers must register their crops on the portal to sell them at the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
Farmers can register on the portal by visiting fasal.haryana.gov.in or their nearest Common Service Center (CSC). Documents like Aadhaar card, bank account details, and land records are required for registration.
The government also launched the Vivaad Se Samadhan Yojana (VSSS-2024) to resolve land-related disputes, benefitting 7,000 people across the state.
Haryana’s initiatives under the Soil Health Card Scheme and other programs demonstrate the government’s commitment to improving farmers' livelihoods. By combining financial support with technological tools, the state is empowering its agricultural community to achieve better productivity and resilience.
