In a recent cabinet meeting led by the Chief Minister, the government decided to allocate ₹1,097.31 crore from the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) and ₹322.33 crore from the state budget for this relief. This aid aims to help farmers recover from the impact of the heavy rains, which affected crops across many districts.
Farmers will receive compensation based on the type of land and the extent of crop loss.
Additionally, if the calculated compensation is less than ₹3,500 based on land holding, farmers will receive a minimum of ₹3,500.
