Efforts are being made by the Central Government and State Governments to increase the farmer’s income. To ensure that the benefits of these schemes reach eligible farmers, it is now mandatory to complete the comprehensive and Khasra-based e-KYC of the land records. This initiative aims to bring more transparency to the governmental schemes.
All schemes run by the state government for farmers are now online. To avail of these benefits, the farmers must register online. In Madhya Pradesh, the government requires agricultural landholders or farmers to complete Samagra and Khasra-based e-KYC of their land records.
Collector Ashu Jawla of Khandwa district in Madhya Pradesh has urged farmers to complete their Samagra ID and land e-KYC with their Aadhaar card number through the Samagra portal. Without e-KYC, farmers will not receive benefits from land-related government schemes in the future.
Farmers can complete their e-KYC for Samagra through Aadhaar at their nearest MP Online or kiosk center. They can also use their respective Patwari, Secretary, Employment Assistant, or even do it themselves via mobile or computer.
