The Chhattisgarh government has announced a Rs 60 crore provision in its budget for 2025–26 to provide bonuses to sugarcane farmers. This move aims to promote sugarcane cultivation and benefit thousands of farmers across the state. Additionally, the budget includes several schemes focused on agriculture, irrigation, and farmer welfare.

Agriculture Unnati Yojana: Rs 10,000 crore allocated to benefit 25.49 lakh farmers selling paddy at MSP.
Deen Dayal Upadhyay Bhumiheen Krishak Mazdoor Kalyan Yojana: Rs 600 crore allocated to provide Rs 10,000 per year to 5.62 lakh landless labourers.
Free Electricity for Agricultural Pumps: Rs 3,500 crore allocated to support farmers with free electricity.
Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana: Rs 750 crore allocated to provide crop insurance.
PM Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan (PM ASHA): Rs 80 crore allocated to support the purchase of pulses and oilseeds.
Krishi Samagra Vikas Yojana: Rs 150 crore allocated for seed production and distribution of paddy, wheat, ragi, kodo-kutki, pulses, and oilseeds. Nano urea and nano DAP will also be promoted.
Organic Farming Promotion: Rs 20 crore allocated under the Traditional Agriculture Development Scheme, with Rs 24 crore for organic certification.
Integrated Watershed Management Programme: Rs 200 crore allocated.
Electrification of Agricultural Pumps: Rs 50 crore allocated.
Integrated Horticulture Mission: Rs 150 crore allocated to boost horticulture.
National Mission on Oil Seeds and Oil Palm Edible Oil: Rs 30 crore allocated, with an additional Rs 25 crore for oil palm cultivation.
Spice Area Expansion Scheme: Rs 5 crore allocated for promoting turmeric and ginger farming.
Irrigation Projects: Rs 700 crore allocated to develop new projects and complete pending ones under the Atal Irrigation Scheme.
Tendu Leaf Collection: Rs 200 crore has been allocated for Rs 5,500 per standard bag payment and Rs 50 crore for Charan Paduka distribution.
Chief Minister's Comprehensive Rural Development Scheme: Rs 200 crore allocated.

Kisan Credit Card (KCC): One lakh animal husbandry and fisheries farmers to receive KCC benefits.

New Hatchery Cum Culture Pond Construction: Rs 75 lakh allocated for fish farming in Manpur-Mohla-Ambalgarh, Balrampur, Ramanujganj, and Khairagarh-Gandai-Chhuikhadan.
Expansion of Fish Production: Rs 12 crore allocated.
Shrimp Farming Units in Bastar Division: 200 units to be set up.
Fisheries College Kawardha Campus Development: Rs 10 crore allocated.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin: Rs 8,500 crore allocated for rural housing.
Mahtari Vandan Yojana: Rs 5,500 crore allocated.
Chief Minister Foodgrain Assistance Scheme: Rs 4,500 crore allocated.
Ayushman Scheme: Rs 1,500 crore allocated for healthcare.
Urban Housing: Rs 875 crore allocated for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
Rural Road Development: Rs 845 crore allocated under PM Gram Sadak Yojana.
Tribal Area Connectivity: Rs 500 crore allocated under PM Janman Road Construction Scheme.
Anganwadi Infrastructure: Rs 40 crore allocated for 1,200 Anganwadi buildings in rural areas.
