The BJP had carefully designed its election manifesto to connect with the everyday issues faced by the people, with a special focus on the agriculture sector.
In a major win for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Chhattisgarh, their 'Modi Ki Guarantee 2023' campaign promises played a key role. The BJP secured victory, especially in areas with a significant tribal population, because of their commitment to addressing the concerns of the people, especially farmers.
One of the main focused points for the Chhattisgarh residents is the commitment to supporting farmers. During the election campaign, the BJP emphasized policies aimed at boosting the agricultural sector, ensuring the welfare of farmers, and enhancing their livelihoods.
With agriculture being an important part of Chhattisgarh's economy, voters are keenly watching to see if the party can translate its promises into benefits for the farming community.
One of the crucial promises made by the BJP was to buy 21 quintals of paddy per acre from farmers at a fair rate of Rs 3,100 per quintal. This pledge is seen as a positive step towards supporting the farming community and ensuring a steady income for them in the state.
The BJP, having learned from past experiences, carefully designed their election manifesto to connect with the everyday issues faced by the people, with a special focus on the farming sector. The success in Chhattisgarh reflects the party's efforts in understanding and addressing the needs of the local population.
People in Chhattisgarh are waiting to see whether the BJP can fulfill the commitments that helped it win the elections. The party needs to keep helping those farmers and citizens, who trusted in 'Modi Ki Guarantee.' All focus is on BJP to ensure that it does what it has said.
The Mahtari Vandan Yojana' promises annual financial assistance of Rs 12,000 to married women, which is gaining popularity among women across the state. Addressing the housing needs of many, the 'PM Awas Yojna' aims to construct 18 lakh houses.
Additionally, the BJP government has committed to purchase tendu leaves at Rs 5,500 per standard bag, providing a bonus of Rs 4,500 to leaf collectors. Annual assistance of Rs 10,000 will also be extended to landless farm labourers, showcasing the party's dedication to strengthening the rural economy.

The BJP's commitment to social welfare and cultural endeavours is evident through the assurance of an 'ashvasan' certificate worth Rs 1.50 lakh to below-poverty-line (BPL) families on the birth of a girl child. Additionally, free trips to Ayodhya to visit the Ram Temple highlight the party's dedication to promoting cultural values and social harmony.
Acknowledging the challenges faced by economically background women, the BJP has pledged to provide cooking gas cylinders at an affordable rate of Rs 500 each. Students commuting to college will benefit from monthly travel allowances, further demonstrating the party's commitment to supporting education.
Chief Minister Baghel announced 'Chhattisgarh Griha Lakshmi Yojana' on Diwali, offering annual financial assistance of Rs 15,000 to empower women economically.
As the BJP celebrates its victory, farmers in Chhattisgarh eagerly await the implementation of the promised support, hopeful that it will bring positive changes to their lives and livelihoods. The coming months will be crucial in assessing how effectively the party can translate these campaign commitments into benefits for people at the ground level.
