After strong winds and unexpected rain damaged crops, the Chief Minister asked officials to find out who was affected. Nine districts were identified as the most impacted, leading to the approval of the Rs 23 crore compensation fund.

Which Districts Are Getting Help?

The districts with the most damage are Jalaun, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Saharanpur, Banda, Basti, Jhansi, Shamli, and Chitrakoot. Jalaun, where crops were hit the hardest, will receive the highest compensation to help farmers recover their losses.

The aid follows the rules of the PM Crop Insurance Scheme. If a farmer's crop faces over 33% damage due to natural disasters like rain and storms, they will receive compensation.
