The weather is changing again, and the atmosphere has become humid. A western disturbance is causing fluctuations in the weather, bringing fog, snowfall, and rain to different parts of India. The India Meteorological Department (IMD)has predicted rain in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan between February 26 and 28. Meanwhile, heavy rain and snowfall are expected in Jammu and Kashmir from February 25 to 28, Himachal Pradesh from February 26 to 28, and Uttarakhand on February 27 and 28.
A private weather agency has also predicted light to moderate rain in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, with heavy rain at some places. Sikkim, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh may also receive light to moderate rain. Additionally, scattered light rain is likely in some areas of northwestern Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Several weather systems are currently active, impacting different regions:
A western disturbance is forming as a cyclonic circulation over North Pakistan and nearby areas.
Another western disturbance is present over North Iran at a height of 3.1 to 9.6 km.
A trough extends from West Bengal to South Chhattisgarh.
A cyclonic circulation is seen over East Assam.
Andaman and Nicobar Islands: Light to moderate rain, with heavy rain at some places.
Sikkim, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh: Light to moderate rain.
Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jammu and Kashmir, and northwest Rajasthan: Scattered light rain.
The Western Himalayan region will see a rise in rain and snowfall from February 25, continuing till March 2 or 3.
Heavy to very heavy snowfall and rain are expected between February 26 and March 1.
Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh may experience light to moderate rain between February 26 and March 1.
Light rain may occur in western Uttar Pradesh from February 27 to March 1.
North Rajasthan may receive light rain on February 27 and 28.
A new western disturbance will bring heavy rain and snowfall in northwest India from Tuesday to Friday.
Andaman and Nicobar Islands will experience heavy rainfall on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Dense fog may persist in parts of Northeast India.
Maximum temperatures are expected to remain normal or slightly above normal across most parts of India.
NCR and nearby areas will see below-normal maximum temperatures until Thursday and Friday.
Minimum temperatures in India will remain above or well above normal.
The weather department has issued a three-day rain alert for Uttar Pradesh from February 27. Thunderstorms and lightning may also occur. On February 27, light rain is expected in Noida, Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Bijnor, Amroha, Saharanpur, and Moradabad. More than 33 districts may see rain and thunderstorms on February 28. The weather is likely to become dry again from March 2.
Delhi will experience foggy mornings with clear skies during the day. The minimum temperature is expected to rise by 2-3 degrees from Wednesday, reaching around 15°C. The maximum temperature will see a slight increase. There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in Delhi NCR on Thursday and Friday.

The upcoming days will bring significant weather changes, with rain and snowfall in multiple states. Residents in affected areas should stay informed and take precautions. While some regions will experience heavy rainfall, others will see temperature fluctuations. The weather is expected to stabilize after March 2.
