The temperature has risen across many parts of India this winter, causing unusual seasonal heat.Due to weather changes, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in Rajasthan and Delhi NCR over the next 24 hours. Let’s look at how the weather will behave in different states.

Rain Expected in Rajasthan and Delhi NCR

IMD reports that rain is expected in several districts of Rajasthan between February 18 and 20 due to two western disturbances. Delhi NCR may also experience rain and thunderstorms during this period. On February 19, light showers or drizzles may occur, followed by dry weather later in the week.

Northeast States Weather Update

From February 18 to 20, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are likely to experience thunderstorms and lightning. Strong winds of 30-40 km/h may blow in these regions on February 19.

Rain in Haryana, UP, and Bihar

Light rain is expected in parts of southern Haryana and southwest Uttar Pradesh within the next 24 hours. Bihar, Jharkhand, and parts of central Uttar Pradesh may also see scattered rain during this period.

Jammu & Kashmir and Nearby Areas

Light rain and snowfall are predicted in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad. Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand may also experience similar weather due to a new western disturbance.

Foggy Conditions Persist

Dense fog was reported in some areas of West Bengal and the Gangetic plains over the last 24 hours, reducing visibility. Fog is also expected to continue in parts of eastern and western Uttar Pradesh on February 21 and beyond.

Rajasthan Weather Outlook

In northern and northwestern Rajasthan, light rain and thunderstorms are expected on February 19 and 20. Areas like Bikaner, Ganganagar, Churu, Nagaur, and Jaipur may also see scattered showers, and a yellow alert has been issued for some districts.

Uttar Pradesh Weather

Western UP may experience light rain on February 20, especially in districts like Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bareilly, Rampur, Ghaziabad, and Gautam Buddha Nagar. Eastern UP is expected to have dry weather for most of the week.
