Sonalika, a prominent player in the tractor manufacturing sector, has released its sales data for Q1 FY 2025, showcasing robust performance and market expansion.
In June 2024 alone, Sonalika sold a total of 14,062 tractors, marking a significant year-on-year growth of 16.6%. The company also saw its market share increase by 1.4 percentage points, the highest among its competitors in the tractor industry.
For the entire first quarter of FY 2025 (April to June 2024), Sonalika reported sales of 41,465 tractors. Despite competitive pressures, Sonalika maintained a steady market share of 14.4%. This performance underscores Sonalika's strong position in the market and its ability to effectively meet customer demand.
Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director at International Tractors Limited (Sonalika & Solis), attributed this success to favorable agricultural conditions, including promising monsoon forecasts and increased cultivation of Kharif crops. These factors, combined with conducive La Nina weather patterns, have heightened demand for tractors across agricultural regions.
Mr. Mittal emphasized Sonalika's commitment to delivering high-quality tractors equipped with advanced technologies, aimed at enhancing productivity and efficiency for farmers.
