The Solar Pump Set Yojana under the PM Kusum Yojna 2024 aims to provide farmers with solar-powered pumps on a subsidy. This will allow them to irrigate their crops more efficiently while saving on electricity costs. The state government plans to distribute 20,000 solar pumps to farmers, ensuring access to irrigation around the clock. The scheme is a big relief for farmers facing frequent power cuts or high electricity bills.
Solar pumps will help farmers irrigate their crops without worrying about electricity outages. These pumps use sunlight, making them cost-effective in the long run. Farmers will also receive subsidies for purchasing solar pumps, making them affordable for everyone.
