Participants were evaluated on their ability to predict the best harvest time, estimate sugar content, identify mature sugarcane fields, and provide useful insights that farmers can easily understand. Out of the initial 474 entries, an expert jury shortlisted 108 applications, leading to 25 startups being invited to pitch their ideas. From these, 10 startups were chosen to receive ₹5 lakh each for developing working prototypes. Ultimately, four top solutions were awarded grants of ₹20 lakh each for further product development.
