Sambal Yojana supports unorganized workers with financial aid for emergencies, education, maternity, and disability, ensuring social security.
The Madhya Pradesh government has given a significant boost to unorganized sector workers by transferring Rs 225 crore to 10,236 labour families under the Chief Minister Jan-Kalyan (Sambal) Scheme. This assistance aims to support worker’s families during emergencies, offering financial relief in challenging times.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made the announcement during a program held in Bhopal, where the amount was digitally transferred to beneficiaries bank accounts. Highlighting the importance of the scheme, he said, “The Sambal Yojana stands by the workers in times of difficulty. This amount serves as a message of solidarity from the government, ensuring the families of affected workers are supported in their grief.”
