Rajasthan Day Celebration 2025 has begun with major announcements for women’s empowerment. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, both central and state governments have introduced several initiatives to support women. These include reservation for women in Lok Sabha and Legislative Assemblies through the Nari Shakti Vandan Act and strict laws against triple talaq. The government has also helped women through Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Ujjwala Yojana, and Jal Jeevan Mission.

On the first day of Rajasthan Day celebrations, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma organized a women's conference at Adarsh Stadium in Barmer. During this event, the government directly transferred crores of rupees to the accounts of beneficiary families under various schemes.

Grand Start to Rajasthan Day Celebrations

Rajasthan Day 2025 is being celebrated on a grand scale under CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s leadership. The celebrations will continue from March 25 to March 31 with various programs. The event was inaugurated with a women’s conference under the Lado Protsahan Yojana at Adarsh Stadium, Barmer. CM Sharma transferred funds directly into the bank accounts of women and girls under multiple government schemes. He emphasized that these celebrations aim to make Rajasthan stronger by supporting farmers, youth, women, and the poor. He also urged the people to participate actively in the state’s development.

Direct Transfer of Crores to Women’s Accounts

During the women’s conference in Barmer, CM Sharma transferred a significant amount under various state schemes:

CM Sharma also announced the Rajivika Mela in Delhi’s Bikaner House to help women entrepreneurs find better markets for their products. Additionally, 36 government women’s colleges have been equipped with library facilities for competitive exam preparation.

Rs 200 Crore LPG Subsidy to 1.10 Crore Families

The Chief Minister reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to women’s welfare. He highlighted the formation of the Anti-Romeo Squad for women’s safety and the expansion of the Lado Protsahan Yojana, increasing the savings bond for girls from poor families to Rs 1.5 lakh from Rs 1 lakh.

The government also transferred Rs 200 crore in LPG subsidies to 1.10 crore women-headed families, reducing LPG cylinder prices to Rs 450 for eligible beneficiaries.

In the 2025-26 budget, the government increased the mess allowance for underprivileged groups to Rs 3,250 per month. The Saraswati Halfway Homes will provide continued support for girls from government-run shelters even after they turn 18.

The government is also launching the Solar Didi Yojana, where 25,000 women from self-help groups will be trained in solar energy solutions.

With these initiatives, the Rajasthan government aims to make women self-reliant and provide them with greater opportunities in various fields.
