PM Modi announced the 17th installment from Varanasi (Kashi). Earlier, he had released the 16th installment on February 28, 2024, from Yavatmal, Maharashtra. At that time, around 21,000 crore rupees were distributed to more than 9 crore farmers.
After taking his oath for the third time, PM Modi's first official act was signing the file for PM Kisan Yojana, ensuring the transfer of 20,000 crore rupees to 9.26 crore farmers.
