PM-KISAN: Supporting Farmers Since 2019

Launched on February 24, 2019, the PM-KISAN scheme provides financial support of Rs 6,000 annually to landholding farmers. This amount is distributed in three equal installments throughout the year. With the release of the 18th installment, the total amount disbursed under the scheme has crossed Rs 3.45 lakh crore, benefiting more than 11 crore farmers across the country.

In Maharashtra, approximately 91.51 lakh farmers will receive over Rs 1,900 crore as part of this installment, which is expected to contribute significantly to the state’s growth of agriculture.

How to Receive PM-KISAN Installments: Complete PM-KISAN e-KYC

To continue receiving the PM-KISAN installments, farmers must ensure that their e-KYC (Know Your Customer) details are updated. The process can be done easily online or by visiting the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) for biometric verification.

Here’s a simple guide for farmers to complete their e-KYC:

  2. Locate the Farmers Corner: On the homepage, find the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the right-hand side.
  3. Click on e-KYC: In the Farmers Corner box, click on the ‘e-KYC’ option.
  4. Access Aadhar e-KYC: Enter your Aadhar number and the Captcha code displayed, then click on the search button.
  5. Verify with OTP: Enter your mobile number linked to your Aadhar card, and click on "Get OTP".
  6. Submit OTP: Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
