New rules impact the Free Electricity Scheme, requiring farmers to clear outstanding bills for continued benefits, affecting eligibility and registration.
In a bid to support farmers and enhance their income, both Central and State Governments have introduced various schemes. One such popular scheme is the Free Electricity Scheme, which has gathered significant attention among farmers across different states. However, recent developments indicate a change in the rules governing this scheme, potentially affecting its beneficiaries.
A new guideline has been introduced under the Free Electricity Scheme, altering the eligibility criteria for beneficiaries.
