The Ministry of Agriculture has introduced three innovative projects under the PM-Kisan Scheme, aiming to strengthen India's agricultural sector. These initiatives, launched by Agriculture Minister Arjun Munda, aim to promote innovation and resilience among farmers. Today's ceremony marks a significant step in India's agricultural modernization, emphasizing inclusivity and sectoral resilience.
The government has launched the Kisan Rakshak Portal & Helpline (KRPH) as part of the Prime Minister's Crop Insurance Scheme. The KRPH serves as a centralized platform aimed at simplifying and improving access to crop insurance for farmers nationwide.
Farmers can now register concerns and complaints via the helpline number 14447. This initiative ensures farmers receive timely assistance and promotes transparent communication throughout the insurance process.
The Learning Management System (LMS) for Insurance and Credit Schemes is a pivotal addition to the Knowledge Resource Platform for Horticulture (KRPH), tailored to address the educational requirements of agricultural communities.
This digital platform has the potential to transform access to information and resources about insurance and credit schemes. The LMS aims to help farmers by providing them with vital knowledge and skills, allowing them to make informed choices about their agricultural methods and financial management.
