M&M Tractor Sales Increases by 6% in Domestic Market in November 2023

Mahindra & Mahindra reported robust sales, with a total of 32,074 units sold in November 2023. This marks a significant increase compared to the same period last year when the company sold 30,528 units in November 2022.

Mahindra & Mahindra, one of the country's leading tractor manufacturers, has released its tractor sales report for November 2023 showcasing a mixed performance in both domestic and export markets. The company reported positive growth in the domestic market in November 2023, marking an increase of 6% in sales compared to the same period last year.

Hemant Sikka, President - Farm Equipment Sector, M&M Ltd., commented on the result, saying, "We sold 31069 tractors in the domestic market during November 2023, a 6% increase over last year. The festive season saw a strong demand pull in the domestic market, aided by Kharif harvest realisations, with retail sales being particularly strong during Dhanteras and Diwali. Farmers continue to benefit from favourable trade terms and progress in Rabi sowing are important elements to monitor. We sold 1005 tractors in the overseas market."

Mahindra export tractor sales were 1,005 units in November 2023, compared to 1,348 units in November 2022. Unfortunately, there was a 25% drop in export sales compared to November 2022.

Mahindra Year-to-Date Tractor Sales Data

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. just announced their Year to Date Tractor Sales report. In November 2023, Mahindra tractor Year-to-date sales totalled 2,79,129 units, compared to 2,82,024 units in November 2022 in the domestic market. Overall Mahindra's domestic Year to Date Tractor Sales Data show a 1% decline in sales.

In November 2023, Mahindra tractor Year-to-date sales totalled 8,475 units, compared to 12,547 units in November 2022 in the export market. Overall Mahindra export Year to Date Tractor Sales Data show a 32% decline.
