Mahindra Tractors has successfully completed its ‘Tractor Tech’ Skill Development Program at the Kaushal Vikas Kendra in Jabalpur. This initiative has equipped 46 young people with valuable skills and opened up new job opportunities in the agriculture sector.

The ‘Tractor Tech’ program, part of Mahindra’s commitment to skill development, provides training that is highly relevant to the industry. Participants will receive certificates from the Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI), marking a key step forward in their careers.

The program is designed to align with Prime Minister Modi’s focus on skill development, aiming to leverage India's demographic dividend. It offers specialized training in roles such as tractor service, sales, and assembly. The training is provided by experienced Mahindra trainers and includes hands-on experience with the latest technical equipment.

Upon completing the program, the 46 participants were invited to Mahindra’s ‘Placement Diwas,’ held in collaboration with the Directorate of Agricultural Engineering, Government of Madhya Pradesh. This event helped connect them to career opportunities in Mahindra's sales, service, and assembly sectors, as well as in other organizations.

The ‘Tractor Tech’ Skill Development Program and ‘Placement Diwas’ highlight Mahindra’s ongoing dedication to empowering individuals through skill development. By bridging the gap between education and employment, Mahindra aims to enhance the livelihoods of participants and contribute to the economic growth of local communities.
