Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) has reported strong tractor sales growth in February 2025. The company sold 23,880 units in India, marking a 19% increase from the 20,121 units sold in February 2024.

In total, Mahindra sold 25,527 tractors, including exports, reflecting an 18% growth compared to 21,672 units sold in February 2024. Export sales rose by 6%, reaching 1,647 units, up from 1,551 units in February last year.

The company also shared its YTD tractor sales data, which showed a 10% increase in domestic sales. Mahindra sold 3,74,512 units in FY25, up from 3,40,250 units in FY24.
The export segment saw even stronger growth, surging by 25%. Mahindra exported 15,195 tractors in FY’25 compared to 12,112 in FY’24. Overall, total tractor sales grew by 11%, reaching 3,89,707 units, compared to 3,52,362 units last year.

Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., commented on the strong performance, stating, “We have sold 23,880 tractors in the domestic market during February 2025, achieving 19% growth over last year. A favorable Rabi crop outlook, increased agricultural credit limits, and continued government support are expected to drive further growth in tractor demand. In the export market, we recorded a 6% growth with 1,647 tractors sold.”
