MP farmers get Rs 1624 crore under the Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana. The next PM Kisan installment is on February 24, 2025.
The Madhya Pradesh government has transferred Rs 1624 crore to the accounts of farmers linked to the Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana. This is the third installment for the financial year 2024–25. About 81 lakh farmers received the benefit, and the transfer took place during a program at Sonkachh, District Dewas. On the same day, the Chief Minister also released the 21st installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana.

The Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana, run by the Madhya Pradesh government, provides financial support to farmers. It offers Rs 2,000 every four months, similar to the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Farmers eligible under both schemes receive Rs 12,000 annually. This scheme was launched by Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the former Chief Minister and current Union Agriculture Minister.

The next installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be released on February 24, 2025. This will be in addition to the Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana installment. Therefore, Madhya Pradesh farmers will receive two installments in the same month.
Farmers registered under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana automatically qualify for the Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana. The state government releases Rs 2,000 in three equal installments every four months. The central government also provides Rs 2,000 to farmers under the PM Kisan Yojana three times a year.
Previously, farmers received two installments a year under the Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana. However, in August 2023, Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s cabinet approved three installments per year. This change increased the annual benefit to Rs 12,000.
Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana aims to make farming more profitable and increase farmer's income. The scheme also encourages the use of advanced farming technology and empowers farmers to be self-reliant. Since its launch in September 2022, a total of 11 installments have been transferred to farmers under this scheme.
