What is the Ladli Behna Yojana?

The Ladli Behna Yojana, also known as Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, was launched in March 2023 by former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. This welfare program provides financial assistance to women aged between 21 to 60 in Madhya Pradesh to boost their economic independence. The money is directly transferred to the beneficiary's bank accounts every month through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Since its launch, 17 installments have been provided, and now the 18th installment of Rs 1250 is set to be released in November 2024. The funds will likely be deposited in the first week of November, though an official date has yet to be announced.

  3. Family income should be below Rs 2.5 lakh per year
  4. No family member should be an income taxpayer
  5. Must have possession of the required documents: Aadhar card, Samagra ID, income certificate, residence certificate, passport-sized photo, and a bank account

How to Apply for the Scheme

Applications for the Ladli Behna Yojana can be submitted online or offline.

Online Application Steps:

  1. Visit the official website: https://cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in/
  2. Click on “New Registration”
  3. Fill in the form with your details and upload the necessary documents
  4. Submit the form and save the registration number for future references

Offline Application:

You can also apply at the Gram Panchayat, Ward Office, or Camp Site by filling out the application form. The form will be entered into the Ladli Behna Portal, and a photo will be taken at the time of registration.

How to Check Payment Status

Women who have applied for Ladli Behna Yojana can check the status of their payments from home using a mobile phone or laptop. Here’s how one can do it:

  3. Enter your registered mobile number, application number, or Samagra ID
