- Krishi Upaj Mandi Committees
- Agricultural Cooperative Societies
- Agricultural Product Distributor Associations
- Farmer Producer Companies (FPOs)
- Public Charitable Trusts and Committees registered under the Act 1860
How Much Subsidy is Available?
Financial assistance is provided at Rs 2,000 per stall. The subsidy covers a minimum of 10 stalls and a maximum of 50 stalls per festival. Thus, the maximum subsidy one can receive is Rs 1 lakh for 50 stalls.
Eligibility and Rules
To qualify for the subsidy, there are specific conditions to be met:
- The festival must last a minimum of five days.
- The subsidy can only be claimed once per financial year.
- The Maharashtra Agricultural Marketing Board must be named as a co-sponsor in all promotional materials.
- If the Board wishes to set up a stall, it must be provided free of cost.
- The Board will not be liable for any legal issues related to the festival.
- Organizers must submit a complete proposal to the divisional office before the festival.
Important Considerations
Organizers should remember the following:
- Only producers are allowed to participate; traders cannot join or sell market-bought produce.
- A Rs 100 stamp paper guarantee accepting all terms and conditions is required.
- Fire NOC from the fire department must be obtained for the festival.
