Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) has announced its tractor sales report for February 2025. The company sold a total of 8,590 tractors, marking an 11.4% growth compared to 7,709 units sold in February 2024.
Domestic sales saw a 9.6% increase, with 7,968 tractors sold compared to 7,269 units last year. Meanwhile, exports showed strong growth, rising by 41.4% to 622 tractors, up from 440 units in February 2024.
According to Escorts Kubota, demand remained strong in key markets, but the Western region faced some pressure due to lower crop prices impacting liquidity. However, increased Rabi sowing, good water reservoir levels, and a favorable base effect are expected to support future growth.

For the April 2024 to February 2025 period, Escorts Kubota reported total sales of 1,04,180 units, slightly lower by 0.3% compared to 1,04,508 units in the same period last year.
Domestic tractor sales grew by 0.4%, reaching 99,788 units in FY 2025, up from 99,422 units in FY 2024. However, exports declined by 13.6%, with 4,392 units sold compared to 5,086 units last year.
