Escorts Kubota Ltd., a leading tractor manufacturer in India, has announced its tractor sales figures for September 2024. The company continues to perform well in the domestic market, despite a decline in exports.

Escorts Kubota sold 11,985 tractors in India during September 2024, marking a 5.7% increase compared to 11,334 units sold in September 2023. This growth is largely driven by favorable monsoon conditions, which have replenished water reservoirs and improved agricultural activity across the country.
In contrast, export sales saw a significant drop. The company sold 395 tractor units in the international market, which is a 47.1% decrease compared to 747 units sold in September 2023. This decline in export sales slightly impacted the overall growth.
In total, Escorts Kubota sold 12,380 tractors in September 2024. This represents a 2.5% growth over the 12,081 tractors sold in September 2023. The company's strong performance in the domestic market has helped balance the dip in export sales.
