Ko.Sha. 18231:
- Developed by the State Sugarcane Research Institute.
- Resistant to red rot disease, a common sugarcane ailment.

Ko.Lakh. 16202:

Farmers can now book mini seed kits online for these two varieties. Here’s what you need to know:

- Distribution Starts: February 15, 2025.
- Total Availability: 4.90 lakh buds for Ko.Sha. 18231 and 350 lakh buds for Ko.Lakh. 16202.
