Mahindra Tractors sold 26,305 units in Jan 2025, marking 15% growth. Total sales reached 27,557 units, including exports.
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) reported a strong start to the year, with impressive tractor sales growth in January 2025. The company sold 26,305 tractors in the domestic market, a 15% increase from 22,972 units in January 2024.
Including exports, Mahindra sold 27,557 tractors in January 2025, up from 23,948 units in the same month last year. Exports grew significantly, reaching 1,252 units, a 28% rise from 976 units in January 2024.

Mahindra also released its Year-to-Date (YTD) sales report for FY 2025. The domestic market recorded a 10% growth, with 350,632 tractors sold compared to 320,129 units in FY 2024. Meanwhile, exports rose by 28%, with sales rising from 10,561 units in FY 2024 to 13,548 units in FY 2025.

Hemant Sikka, President of the Farm Equipment Sector at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., attributed this growth to favorable agricultural conditions. He stated, “We have sold 26,305 tractors in the domestic market in January 2025, achieving a 15% growth. Factors such as better soil moisture from a strong monsoon, high reservoir water storage, and increased Rabi sowing have contributed to the rising demand. Additionally, government support through rural schemes and agricultural subsidies is expected to boost sales further.”
