M&M Group (Mahindra Tractors)

M&M Group, also known as Mahindra Tractors, maintained its leadership position in the market with 43,201 units sold in September 2024. This marked an increase of 2.78% from the 42,034 units sold in September 2023. However, despite the rise in sales, Mahindra's market share decreased slightly, dropping from 43.37% to 42.97%, reflecting a 0.40% reduction year-over-year (YoY).

Tafe Group

Tafe Group, one of the prominent players in the tractor industry, saw a slight drop in sales during September 2024. The company sold 17,984 units, down from 18,244 units in September 2023, indicating a 1.43% decline. Additionally, Tafe's market share fell from 18.82% to 17.89%, a decrease of 0.94%.

Sonalika Tractors

Sonalika Tractors had a positive performance in September 2024, with sales rising by 4.20%. The company sold 14,309 units, compared to 13,732 units in September 2023. Their market share also saw a small improvement, increasing from 14.17% to 14.23%, reflecting a stable position in the market.

Escorts Kubota

Escorts Kubota continued its upward trajectory in September 2024, selling 11,985 units, a 5.74% increase compared to the 11,334 units sold in September 2023. Their market share also grew slightly, from 11.69% to 11.92%, representing a 0.23% increase.

John Deere

John Deere performed notably well in September 2024, with sales rising to 7,004 units, a 14.35% jump from the 6,125 units sold in September 2023. The company’s market share increased by 0.65%, rising from 6.32% to 6.97%, marking a strong presence in the industry.

New Holland

New Holland saw remarkable growth in September 2024, with 4,503 tractors sold, a 19.54% increase from the 3,767 units sold in the same month last year. Their market share also improved, rising from 3.89% in September 2023 to 4.48% in September 2024, reflecting a 0.59% growth.

Preet Tractors

Preet Tractors sold 436 units in September 2024, up slightly from the 427 units sold in September 2023, showing a 2.11% growth. Despite the rise in sales, their market share dropped by 0.01%, standing at 0.43% in September 2024 compared to 0.44% the previous year.

Indo Farm Tractors

Indo Farm Tractors experienced a tough month in September 2024, with sales dropping by 16.01%. The company sold 341 units, down from 406 units in September 2023. Their market share also decreased, falling from 0.42% to 0.34%, a reduction of 0.08%.

ACE Tractors

ACE Tractors recorded impressive sales growth in September 2024, with 318 units sold, up from 210 units sold in September 2023, reflecting a 51.43% increase. Their market share rose to 0.32% in September 2024, compared to 0.22% the previous year, showing a 0.10% improvement.

VST Tillers & Tractors

VST Tillers and Tractors saw a little change in sales in September 2024, selling 268 units, just below the 269 units sold in September 2023. This represents a minor decline of 0.37%. Their market share remained nearly unchanged, decreasing slightly by 0.01% to 0.27% in 2024.

Captain Tractors

Captain Tractors faced a sharp decline in sales in September 2024, with only 138 units sold compared to 301 units in September 2023, reflecting a significant drop of 54.15%. Their market share fell to 0.14% in September 2024, down from 0.31% last year, with a decline of 0.17%.

SDF Tractors

SDF Tractors sold 55 tractors in September 2024, down from 67 tractors in the same period last year. This represents a 17.91% decline in sales. Their market share also decreased slightly by 0.01%, standing at 0.05% in September 2024 compared to 0.07% in 2023.
