If you want to buy a new tractor for your farm, you might be curious about which one is better: Swaraj 744 FE or Sonalika DI 745 III. Both are well-known tractor models in India, offering high performance, durability, and comfort. But how do they compare in terms of features, specifications, and price?
In this article, we will help you find the answer by comparing the Swaraj 744 FE and Sonalika DI 745 III tractor models. We’ll discuss their engine output, gearbox configuration, hydraulic capacity, fuel efficiency, and warranty. By the end of this article, you’ll have a clear idea of which tractor meets your farming requirements and budget. So let’s get started!
When choosing a tractor for your needs, you simply cannot leave out its engine power factor. The engine power affects how the tractor performs various tasks and handles different loads. Swaraj 744 FE is a 48 hp tractor while Sonalika DI 745 III is a 50 hp tractor, which is similar to a certain level. Swaraj 744 FE has a 3-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3136 CC.
Sonalika DI 745 III also has a 3-cylinder engine but with a displacement of 3067 CC. Both tractors have a dry-type air filter. However, the Sonalika tractor has an RPM of 2100, while the Swaraj 744 FE has an RPM of 2000. This means that Sonalika DI 745 III can deliver more torque at lower speeds, while Swaraj 744 FE can deliver more power at higher speeds.
Another important factor to consider when choosing a tractor is the transmission system. The transmission system affects how smoothly and efficiently the tractor can change gears and speed. Swaraj 744 FE and Sonalika DI 745 III have different types of transmission systems. The Swaraj tractor has a transmission system containing 8 forward and 2 reverse gears. It has a single/dual-clutch and a multi-speed PTO with a power of 41.8 HP.
Sonalika DI 745 III has a constant mesh with a side shifter transmission system with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears. It has a single/dual-clutch and a single-speed PTO with a power of 40.8 HP. Both tractors have oil-immersed brakes and mechanical/power steering (optional) for better control and safety. However, Sonalika DI 745 III has a side shift gear level position. On the other hand, the Swaraj 744 FE has a single drop-arm steering column.
Swaraj 744 FE vs Sonalika DI 745 III have a fuel tank with a capacity of 60 liters and 55 liters, respectively. However, the fuel efficiency of both tractors may vary depending on the type of work, load, speed, and terrain. This means both tractors provide good mileage and can run for longer hours without frequent requirements of refueling.
Another important factor to evaluate when choosing a tractor – Hydraulic capacity which affects how well the tractor can lift and operate with various implements and attachments. Both models of Swaraj 744 FE or Sonalika DI 745 III have a hydraulic capacity of ADDC (Automatic Depth and Draft Control).
This means that the tractor can automatically adjust the depth and draft of the implements according to the soil conditions and load. Swaraj 744 FE has a lower lifting capacity of 1700 kg, while Sonalika DI 745 III has a slightly lower lifting capacity of 1600 kg. This means that the Sonalika DI 745 III can lift and operate heavier implements and attachments than the Swaraj 744 FE.
Your tractor’s weight and dimensions are also important, as they control both the tractor’s performance and functionality. Swaraj 744 FE weighing 1990 kg has a wide wheelbase of 1950 mm with an overall length of 3440 mm and a width of 1730 mm. This Swaraj tractor moreover has a decent ground clearance of 400 mm. The Sonalika DI 745 III weighs 2000 kg and has a wide wheelbase of 2080 mm, while the ground clearance is 425 mm.
The tire and the rear tire are in perfect proportion in both the tractors, giving the farmer a smooth ride that is also balanced.
If you are looking for a powerful tractor, consider the Swaraj 744 FE or Sonalika DI 745 III. But the tractor price is another crucial factor when selecting a tractor. The price influences how much money you have to invest and how much value you receive for your money. Depending on the variant and features, the Swaraj 744 FE and Sonalika DI 745 III have different prices.
Swaraj 744 FE has a lower price range of Rs. 6.90 Lakh to Rs. 7.40 Lakh, while Sonalika DI 745 III has a higher price range of Rs. 7.45 Lakh to Rs. 7.87 Lakh. This means that the Swaraj 744 FE is more economical and affordable than the Sonalika DI 745 III.
Warranty is another important factor to consider when choosing a tractor. This is because it determines how long the tractor is covered for physical damage or defects. That being said, both the Swaraj 744 FE and Sonalika DI 745 III have a shorter warranty period of 2 years or 2000 hours of usage, whichever occurs earlier from the date of its first sale.
